We imagined our selves wandering among tall structures. A forest or a city? During night or day?
The trees are arranged in a line with a video projection faced towards them. The video shows an solar eclipse repeating itself endlessly. Is it night or day? The shadows from the trees is falling into the space behind the lined up forest. A distinct but not impenetrable border is created by the trees similarity with a drapery. A structure that creates a loose division between the spaces.
The installation was shown at Länskonst 2011 at Sandvikens Konsthall. The piece was later used as a starting point and backdrop ta a live performance during the music and art festival “Vindöga”
